Live Burn Training.com was created by a group of firefighters dedicated to increasing firefighter safety through comprehensive and realistic fireground training. Many firefighters unfortunately receive little additional fireground training once recruit school is completed. Our training packages are dynamic and relevant, addressing the needs of today’s firefighter. Lightweight construction, reduced staffing, the proliferation of petroleum based materials and other factors we can’t control all impact on firefighter safety.

All of our fireground classes include both lecture and Hands on Training. We believe that these two educational components are the best way to learn new skills and refresh old ones. This dual method of instruction provides the student with the knowledge, skill, and confidence needed to get the job done. Our high impact lectures and power point presentations will provide you with the knowledge you need to be successful on the fireground.

Hands on instruction reinforces and extends this learning process by having each student actually performing the previously taught skills. During hands on training our instructors are right by your side coaching you through the process, while passing on valuable tips you won’t find in any book. We believe this mentoring style of instruction coupled with dynamic lectures delivers the most effective training.   

All the instructors from Live Burn Training.com are experienced fireground officers and firefighters with extensive knowledge and experience on the topics they teach. All our instructors have taught at company drills, various fire schools and hands on training sessions. Many have lectured on the national level at fire service conventions such as FDIC and Firehouse Expo, some are published authors for fire service magazines. Many have developed training programs or been involved in fire equipment field testing. These are some of the qualities that make a well rounded instructor. Our instructors know what’s happening in the fire service today, and lead the way in fire service training.

Our Live Burn class is like none other given today. This class is an all encompassing training session, with student safety given the highest priority. Students not only learn the best way to attack a fire they also learn the other tasks that need to be preformed on the fireground.
