- ABOUT US -
Lt.Tim Klett is a 20 year veteran of
the fire service. Lt. Klett was a volunteer firefighter with the Newington,
CT. Fire Dept. for 5 yrs. Until becoming a full time paid firefighter with
the City of New Britian, CT. Fire Dept. Lt. Klett spent 4 yrs. as a New
Britain firefighter until his appointment to the New York City Fire Department
in 1990. He worked in Engine Co.69 in Harlem for12 years, one of the
FDNY’s busiest Engines, until his promotion. He currently works in the Bronx
and is assigned to Engine Co.88 in the 7th div. Lt. Klett was also a HOT
instructor for Live Fire Training at the F.D.I.C. and has served as the
lead instructor for the same. Lt. Klett speaks frequently about Engine Company
Operations and other fire related topics. He is also an adjunct instructor
for the Connecticut State Fire School and is the Author of “ Stretching
and Operating the First Line” produced as “Fire Notes” by the Fire Department
Training Network. He has also written for FireEngineering magazine, Firehouse.com
and Firescue Interactives.
Ray McCormack is a 24 year veteran of the F.D.N.Y. and a Lieutenant with
Engine 69 in Harlem. McCormack is a New York State Certified Fire Instructor.
Prior to promotion he was assigned to Ladder 24 in Mid-Town Manhattan for
13 years. McCormack was a Hands on Training (HOT) Instructor in Live Fire
Attack for FDIC and FDIC West, where he specialized in attack line and interior
safety officer. He has lectured at Firehouse Expo, FDIC and FDIC East. McCormack
has been published in FireEngineering magazine, Firerescue Interactive,
Minnesota Fire Chief, W.N.Y.F. (With New York Firefighters) and Firenuggets.com.
McCormack has a B.A. from New York Institute of Technology.
